Burger Bodega Expands to Katy in 2025

Burger Bodega, the popular Houston-based burger joint, is expanding to Katy with a new location opening in early 2025 at the corner of Franz and Mason Roads (21904 Franz Road). Known for its bold flavors and innovative menu, the restaurant quickly became a local favorite after transitioning from pop-up events to its first brick-and-mortar spot on Washington Avenue in 2022. Founder Abbas Dhanani, who started the @houstoneatz Instagram account to highlight Houston’s culinary scene, brings his passion for quality ingredients and creative offerings to this second location, aiming to build strong community ties in Katy.

The menu will feature signature items like the Smash Burger, Chopped Cheese, and loaded fries, as well as indulgent milkshakes and refreshing drinks like mango lassi. Construction for the 3,000-square-foot space begins in January 2025, with an anticipated opening in April. By bringing its fast-casual dining and focus on community connections to Katy, Burger Bodega is poised to become a new favorite for local burger lovers.
