Goodcents Brings Fresh Flavors and Family Values to Katy

The Midwest favorite, Goodcents, has officially arrived in Texas, opening its first location in Katy at 2206 Katy Flewellen Rd E. Led by Kansas City native Jax Johnson and her family, the new store offers a welcoming neighborhood dining experience complete with fresh-made sandwiches, hearty pasta dishes, and a commitment to community values.

Since its soft opening on December 20, the shop has been serving Goodcents' signature soft bread sandwiches and other unique menu items, with a Grand Opening scheduled for January 8. Alongside delicious meals, the store emphasizes a customer-focused atmosphere, highlighted by a wall honoring Katy’s local history and a simple, efficient ordering process. Catering options are also available, making Goodcents a convenient choice for busy professionals, educators, and healthcare workers.

Goodcents joins the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce with plans to expand to Fulshear and another Katy location in 2025. More than just a restaurant, Jax Johnson envisions Goodcents as a hub for community connections, hosting events and creating a sense of family—one sandwich at a time.
